Setting the table, setting the tone

A workshop that has taken place in Berlin, Germany; Aberdeen, Scotland; and Aegna, Estonia.

Throughout it's few reiterations, setting the tone, setting the table has centred around an initial writing workshop where the group shares dreams, hopes, expectations, worries, access needs etc. These come together to inform a collective manifesto.
The second part, a clay workshop, uses our manifesto as a starting point, each taking a section (of clay and of the writing) and moulding into a plate.
The intimate space around a dinner table of tenderness and kinship can also hold space for collective action, activism and learning. In this, the set will comes together as the manifesto, and to set the table/set the tone for future meals together.
